Wardrobe Wednesdays - Flower Power

I like to keep with themes, so for this week - keeping up with a "I wish it were spring" theme - I thought I would wear a floral dress with pastel flowers. I thrifted this dress about 2 years ago and love it. Every time I wear it I wish I were headed to a tea party. The layered skirt is sort of big and obnoxious however so I have only worn it on a few occasions. Every time I put it on I feel an intense need to twirl away. Let me know if you think it is too wild to wear often.

  1. Not at all too wild. And dressed down with flats and tights you could go with this almost any day, super cute. Think summer, pink flats, that bag and a strawhat (a trilby)

  8. I been looking for a floral black dress since I was 16 and saw a $200 one at the Betsy Johnson store. I am so jealous that you found this one at a Thrift store, who would of known! Well until I get lucky and find one at the mall or the thrift store, I will be sitting here wishing I had your perfect dress.

    1. Aw, thanks! I am so bad at wearing semi-bold pieces. I will try to take it out of the closet more often.

  10. Oh, I would wear that dress very often! That skirt doesn't look obnoxiously layered at all to me. I think it's fabulous! And you wear it very well. The bag is a perfect match to the outfit.
And seriously, just about all my dresses are twirl-worthy. There really is nothing better (and more fun) than to wear a twirly, girly dress! :)

    1. I am glad to get other girls opinion on this. I asked my boyfriend if he thought it was obnoxious and he just rolled his eyes, haha. Thank you so much :] I completely agree with you! Ever since I was little I had to be able to twirl all of my dresses :]

  21. Oh a twirly dress is a dream to wear! :) You look so lovely in it! Thrifted dresses are the best - they are so much more special than the ones from H&M or such like. :)
