Sassy Pants(less)

I am AWFUL at coming up with blog titles ^^^ Ahaha. Help? How do you guys come up with catchy blog titles? I could use a few pointers. Lalala, anywho. Tonight I am going to see Kinkyboots - the musical with my mom. She won tickets on the floor - pretty darn excited about it. For those who may not have heard of it before - it is a sweet new musical by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein - need I say more? My brother is even more lucky because he got to meet Cyndi and Harvey on Monday in one of his classes (he is a musical theater student here in Chicago)!! I still need to ask him what they all talked about. Tonight calls for a sassy outfit, so I came up with the following look...

Outfit Details: Coat - Grandmothers | Dress - Thrifted | Shoes - Target.

Like this jacket? It was my grandmothers from when she went on a trip to Spain. My brother wore it last Halloween, haha. I have fallen in love with it though, and it fits just right! It is a bit over the top, but if worn with solid colors I think it is an acceptable amount of - POW! What do you think? Too much?

Hope you all have some fun plans in store for the weekend. I am still working on sorting out mine. Take care! <3

    1. Thank you so much. I definitely wanted to make sure that the coat stood out. It might have been too much otherwise. Thanks :] It was a lot of fun.

  10. I really love the jacket. I don't think its too much at all. In fact, I would have even tossed a gold bracelet on as well, since you're rocking cropped sleeves. I think the gold link bracelet I saw over at Outfit Additions tonight would complement this outfit well! Hope you + your mom had fun. Can't wait to hear all about it!

  15. I absolutely love this blazer. It looks so good with the solid dress. And as far as titles, I use song lyrics/song titles for most of mine. It seems to work!

  21. Thank you so much for the lovely comment on my blog -I actually got one of the jobs! It's part time so I'm still looking for a second job but it's a good thing. It's my first day tomorrow!

I love the outfit you are wearing here. Like everyone else I am instantly in love with the jacket and reckon I would wear it to death if I had it. My grandma just wears pink fleeces and long skirts and walking trousers. I don't think I'll be getting such glorious hand-downs.

  23. Duuuude, this jacket. ♥ I am not even kidding, it's just amazing. A total score. And you paired it perfectly!!!! Simple but it's definitely POW. Too much extra stuff with this jacket could be over the top but I don't think so as it is here. You don't look outright costume-y or anything. I mean, I'd totally wear this to school or dinner or out to a theater/musical! Like you did.
I'm glad you had fun at the show! Cyndi Lauper was always a huge part of my childhood, and most girls. Your mom sounds so cool just going up and talking to her after the show, haha. I love that I have this image of her in my head treating celebs like they're just normal people. Because they are after all, but sort of not really either. It's weird.
And omg, I so don't think I come up with good blog titles. Sometimes I'm pleased with them but most of the time I'm thinking for like an hour and when I can't come up with something clever, I just go with what's obvious. Lol, why do we care so much?! Your blog title here is totally something I'd do! :D
