Wardrobe Wednesday - Color blocking

Hi all, another Wardrobe Wednesday here. I took outfit photos on Sunday because I knew my week was going to be jam packed, ended up hating how the photos turned out and took some more today. Last night was my roommates senior BFA show in painting. Her work was incredible. All of her family and friends came out to see it and it was a great time :] I am going in later in the week to take some pictures of the space.

Anywho, a couple of weeks ago I won a beautiful silver and blue tear drop necklace from the wonderful Mandy at Grace and Viola's blog. I have been meaning to take an outfit post with it, so finally - here it is!



It came in the cutest little package with a sweet note.



I really wanted the blue in the necklace to pop so I paired it with the bright pink top. I also didn't want to detract from the necklace so I used minimal colors in the outfit to help it shine. I hope you all are having a lovely Wednesday. I plan on catching up on comments and blogs shortly - I didn't realize how far behind I had fallen.
