My dad and I drove up to Niagara Falls on the way back home from Rhode Island. I had been to the falls once before a few years back, they are just as beautiful as they were then. You can spot the mist from miles away. Once you reach the falls the water is the most beautiful greenish-blue. It is by far one of the most magical places on earth :]
We walked along the falls early in the afternoon and later that night. I love looking over the railings to watch the clear glass-like water rush down the sides of the falls. I have no clue why anyone would want to go over the falls in a barrel however - yikes! I wish I had more to say about the visit but I think that the photos speak for themselves.
Hope you all are having a beautiful Tuesday!
I can't wait for the day to visit Niagara - although I hear it's "prettier" to see it from the Canadian side?
ReplyDeleteSo true! I haven't seen it from the American side but I am pretty sure the best view is from Canada :]
DeleteI've always wanted to go, it looks so beautiful especially in your photos. And I absolutely love your dress too.

DeleteMy gosh, these are gorgeous photos! They're so crisp and clear, like that refreshing water! Mikey and I talk about going there; I think we HAVE to make it happen this summer. It just looks so amazing to see in person.
ReplyDeleteHey love, did you get my emails from yesterday? I just wanted to know if the top will fit you, otherwise I'll just return it. But I thought of you and definitely wanted to pass it on if you think it'll work. :)
DeleteYou two need to go!! I think it would be such a fun and romantic place to be with your other half :]
DeleteHave you ever been to the little nearby town of Niagara-on-the-Lake? It's so picturesque and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't! I drove by the signs for it but I can't say that I stopped by and looked around. I will have to check it out next time :]
DeleteThank you for posting the pictures :). I really love the look of Niagara Falls and I've always wanted to visit since doing a geography project on it in school! I guess I'll have to stick to looking at pictures of it for now :). xx
ReplyDeleteOf course! Aw. I sure hope you get there one day :]
DeleteSo lovely! I didn't get to see it at night when I went, but it looks pretty magical!

DeleteThese are such pretty pictures, I went to Niagara Falls years ago and I wish I had taken more pictures (or had a better camera) at the time. I love the color of the water and the rainbows! I remember how gorgeous the rainbows were over the falls.
