Hi guys! Remember me? Sorry for the short absence. I needed to work on getting in to the swing of things. What thing(s) am I referring to? Welp, an hour and a half commute for starters. I found myself my first "big girl" design job in the city!! I have been a bit nervous to share it with the world...but it is about time. I work in a pretttty hip part of town with a really nice group of people. I love what I do each day and am so excited to be putting my skills to use :] Thank you all for the good vibes - they sure paid off.
Working full time has taken some getting used to. How do you all find time for staying on top of blogging after working 9-5? (technically 7-7 if you factor in the commute) I am thinking I need to start blogging ahead on Sundays. La,la, la....rambling. I am excited, overwhelmed, and happy as can be.
Aside from working I have been hanging out with friends and family enjoying the last bit of summer we have left. I have also been enjoying my garden...
Squash, tomatoes, cucumbers (etc.) - oh my! My lunch has been pretty tasty, haha. I am so glad to be back. I missed you all. Hope you all are having a beautiful day!!
what an awesome garden, and i know what you mean, im about 7-7 most days with school and work, sucks up all my time.seriously.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Ughhh. It is tough. I am glad I am not alone.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your job! How exciting that we both have big girl jobs now! As you can see from my lack of posts, I am still trying to figure out how to make time for blogging. It is not easy! I was doing the 7-7 thing my first week--no fun! Now it only takes me about 50 minutes to get home and it's wonderful! Still doesn't leave tons of time though...
ReplyDeleteWell your garden looks lovely and delicious! I desperately want a veggie garden so we can save on purchasing them at the grocery store. Not that they're terribly expensive...it would just also be more convenient to walk to the backyard than to get dressed and drive. Ugh. *lazy* Unfortunately we have a cement backyard, as I told you before. "Concrete jungle where dreams are made of" my ass. ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats again on your j-o-b! It's much deserved and I know you'll be the best at it! But damn...and hour and a half commute...that's rough. I used to do an hour each way back in Vegas and I don't miss it at all. I remember being completely drained by the time I got home. I'd put on my pjs and sit in front of the tv before passing out around 7pm! I hope you're at least happy there, but I will keep my fingers crossed for something closer to home, too ;)))
Love!
Congrats, Allison!!
