Lion plant holder - This guys goofy face sold me on him. I picked him up on a half off day at a local thrift store - thrift & dollar. I haven't grown a plant in him yet. As of right now he hangs out on a shelf looking calm, cool, and collected. This spring I hope to give him a fern to look after.
Toad soap/toothbrush holder - I wish I had a larger sink to use this guy properly. As of right now he holds arts and crafts supplies. I picked this guy up two years ago. 60 cents!
Elephant plant holder - This guy still hasn't held a plant either. He just hangs out by the back door and sometimes holds my acrylic paints. I picked this guy up Sophomore year of college as one of my first thrifted finds.
Cat small plant holder or card holder? - Not entirely sure what these three cats are supposed to hold but they typically contain yarn or pens. I was gifted these lovely felines plus the dog at a white elephant party. They were acquired at a thrift store however.
Dog - He just looks cute and came with the cats.
Eeep! Where do you all upload your pictures to? My Flickr account is nearly full and I am debating whether or not I want to pay to upgrade or look elsewhere. Any great free sites? I have a photobucket but I like Flickr's quality.
Such sweet finds! Love the cat bank and toad oap/toothbrush holder! Cute and functional.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I need to put the toad to better use still.

Deletehow cute =)))
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!! Love when the lion and kitty are looking at each other! Haha

CAKED Vintage
Haha I had put them down and I noticed that too so I had to snap a shot.
DeleteAnd thank you! I may revert to using photobucket. I just love that flickr allows you to upload such high quality/sized pics.
I love the elephant!!
ReplyDeleteHe is one of my faves :]
DeleteOh man, I would love to go thrifting with you. These are all so great. I know if I was thrifting, they would have caught my eye! I love this feature! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Arielle! I wish I had more people in the area to thrift with. Typically my mom and I just go on weekends I am home. It would be so fun to have a group of thrifters.
DeleteOh I love the green kitty with the bowtie!!!!!! He's my fave! I thought it was a puppy at first, lol. Either way, that's the cutest green animal I've ever seen in my life.
ReplyDeleteI also love the cute expression on the lion.
I swear we used to have that trio of cats ceramic when I was a kid. I think every household had it! :)
And as far as where I store all my pictures, I use Flickr too, but I forget about that account and rarely use it; I have photobucket but don't use that often either...I just keep all my photos on my external hard drive. You should get one if you don't have one. I love it because I just save all my pictures every month onto it and don't worry about ever losing them if my comp crashes. Eek I'd die if that happened!
Haha, now that you point out the puppy thing I can see him both ways. And the three cats are just too cute. I was so excited when I opened them at the white elephant. I am sure they were massed produced. Orrr maybe they are your old ones haha.
DeleteI just bought an external hard drive a few months ago. I have had my hard drive crash twice and lost mostly everything in the process :[ I back up a few times a week now thankfully. Thanks for the heads up though. It is bad news to lose pics (and everything else).
That little kitten, wow. I love it!! Very cute!

DeleteThings like this are always the best. It's always fun to find these things at thrift stores. I have a few knick knacks myself that I enjoy. :) And, a few posts down, you have an awesome dress! That thing kicks butt!! It also reminds me that I need to buy some brown tights at some point...
ReplyDeleteI love collecting knick knacks (if you couldn't tell, haha). And thank you so much :]
DeleteHow cute is this post?!!
ReplyDeleteI plan to do some thrifting this weekend. Looking for a tuxedo jacket.
Oh, awesome! Best of luck finding one :]
DeleteUmmm, how cute are these? Especially the elephant. Great spots and buys.

oh CUTE! everything is so cute! upgrading you flickr account is actually, in my opinion, totally worth it if you take and store a lot of photos. I've totally used my money's worth and more.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I really think I am going to go with upgrading my account. The price isn't really bad at all.
DeleteI think the white elephant is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteWhat great finds...
:] Everyone seems to be set on the elephant
DeleteBaha the cat bank seriously is TOO cute! He looks like a cactus cat. But with the cutest face ever. ^_^
ReplyDeleteHaha he does look like a cactus. I wonder what they were going for with the green and geometric details
DeleteThat frog is seriously amazing! The cat looks a bit like a turtle, but that's awesome. I love quirky things<3
ReplyDeleteHaha. The cat is so strange but I love him :]
Deleteholy hell! there was an actual audible gash when I saw that kitty bank. what a find!! those eyes and that little bow tie are killing it.

DeleteOH MY GOD. I am in LOVE with this post! I can't believe how adorable these areee :33 I love that you put that gorgeous yarn in the elephant planter!
ReplyDeleteThank you :] I think he looks good with the yarn too!
