Yolo

For anyone who hates the phrase - Yolo - "you only live once", sorry, haha. It was the theme of my weekend, or at least Saturday night because we found my friends Yolo glasses in his car. I had a nice relaxing weekend. I hope you all did as well. Friday night Brian and I stayed in and watched Braveheart, Saturday I ran errands with the ladies and then visited my friends Billy and Lindy later that night. I wish I lived closer to them. We all met in college and always have a blast catching up. I know I have only been out of school for slightly less than a year buttttt it sure does stink having all your friends spread across the state.

Anywho... Saturday night consisted of friends, midnight doughnuts at Spunky Dunkers - best name ever, aaaaand nickel sized spiders. All in all a GREAT night :]

This weekend is my Mama's birthday and my dad is in town for the week. Needless to say things will be busy on my end. I am loving this beautiful and cooler weather though - major plus.

How are things looking for you this week? Any fun plans?

  3. Glad you've had a great weekend! Yolo didn't bother me, until I seen people wearing t-shirts with the phrase on them :(

  4. Oh my word that spider is too big for my liking. I've noticed the insecty buggie things are so much bigger and with many, many more legs in the US compared to the UK!

  9. ~Funny you should mention it, but I only found myself doing an eye roll at the phrase after one of my friends said it every five minutes! haha I think she did it to annoy me though, 'cause I don't hear it at all anymore. I do find all the YOLO memes hilarious though!
~Trust me, I know all about that friends thing. Mine are all over the country! I wish I could drive to them more often or that more of them were closer. I'm thankful that at least three of them are between 1.5 & 3 hours from me now. But that's only three out of so, so many very close military friends. I swear it's like they're my brothers and sisters. By the way, I'm not trying to steal your thunder right here! I didn't want it to seem like that at all, and reading it, it totally seems like that! Oopsy, don't think I don't think it doesn't suck for you either. Distance is distance. :)
~Spunky Dunkers IS a great name!
~That spider is making me nervous. Yuuuucks.
~I can't wait to see pictures from your mommy's birthday!! :D
This week, let's see....I'm looking forward to Sons of Anarchy tomorrow and Friday after school, because it will be the weekend. hehe
♥ have a lovely week, friend!

  10. Hahaha. Yeah, it is definitely annoying, and I think that is why I like it.

Oh, shhh! You are not stealing my thunder. I feel your pain. You have a bunch of loved ones spread all over, I completely understand. And you moved so it makes it even tougher.

Haha. I really like the name.

    :]
