Headshots

Hi all. The busy week is over and I am glad that it is finally the weekend. I finished up designing the website for my client, now I am waiting to meet with him to discuss any adjustments. It is exciting that I will have my first website up and running for a local business very soon. Last weekend I also took some headshots for my brother and his girlfriend. They are both very talented musical theater majors. I can't wait to see them on broadway some day :] Here is the photo my brother chose.

I think it turned out well. I took their headshots last year too around the same time - which is crazy because January weather in Chicago is so cold. We took the photos outside for the natural light and froze our bums off. Thankfully we got them all in before the freezing rain began. I would post more from the shoot but my flickr account is warning me that I have almost used up my space for the month - whoops. Alrighty, I am just rambling now...

I wish he had more recent stuff up.

    That's a great picture of your bro! I love how all the colors are just like BAM, POP! Especially those eyes. And I loved the video; he has a perfect voice for musicals on Broadway. I totally got the vibe! :)

      I hope it helps land him a job :] it is such a small thing in the scheme of things - the actual audition, but hopefully makes an impact.

    hey allison :) your brother better buy you great birthday gifts for making him look good! ahah, jk. but awesome photos though - i love natural lighting too! has it been snowing much in chicago? i'm about 5 hrs north of you and it's been ridiculous! it'll be freezing one day, and then beautiful the next! ay yi yi.

      Haha. Thanks. It has been just as whacky here. We will get freezing cold days with snow and the next day it will be in the 40s or higher and melt everything. I want one or the other.

    Looks great! I know everyone has said this, but it's just undeniable: the shirt really makes his eyes pop. Also, cold weather often does have the best light!
