Wardrobe Wednesdays - dusty rose

Hi all, another Wardrobe Wednesday here. Today I felt like showing off my favorite dress. It is super comfy to wear and I love its detailing :]

Outfit Details: Dress - Urban Outfitters | Tights - Target | Boots - Mom's hand me downs :] | Bag - UO.

I had Brian take these pics (we took 3 outfit posts on the same day), it is so hard to get indoor photos to turn out well unless the sun is shining and it wasn't. Yadda, yadda. I am currently in the process of reworking my resume and updating my portfolio so I can get my first "big girl" job. I am still debating whether I should just work retail until May though because I am not too sure I want to live here much longer. I need something to pay the bills though and freelance is not cutting it (mainly because I am too chicken to ask for what I should really be being paid). Anywho, happy Wednesday everyone!

  3. Super cute dress, the colour is especially nice and suits you really well. Your mustard chair is amazing! I'd feel like such a boss sitting in it! Could you just do retail and free lance on the side?

    1. Thank you! And I love that chair. It is a part of a pair which my mom and I picked up for $10 at a garage sale. It is soooo comfy. I really think that is the direction I am going to go in - retail & free lance on the side until May rolls around :]

  7. You look stunning, I love the color of your hair, it is just that perfect shade of red. Speaking of love, I love the dress as well, it is beyond pretty. Retail can be a pain but it can also be a lot of fun if you work with great people! I'm sure you'll figure it all out, I know how it feels to be sick of the place you are. I hate my current living situation, I'm always fantasizing about leaving.

    1. Thank you for the sweet compliments. Retail can definitely be a pain, but I am too afraid of diving into the food business. I hope you find a new living situation soon lady!

  10. I love the dress!! I wore one today that is super comfy as well.
One of my favorite dresses has lacy sleeves just like this one you're wearing and it's my favorite detail about the dress. You look lovely in yours and I must say that dusty rose is one of my favorite colors in clothing. Ahhh, it's beautiful.
I also hate having to take my photos indoors lately, but at least your background is cute. I want that mustard chair!

    1. Comfy dresses are my favorite. It is the worst having an adorable dress but you can't sit comfortably in it etc. Thank you! It is the only dusty rose colored item I have but it really love the color. It is subtle but very pretty.

That chair is my favorite piece of furniture. And I have to thank my roomy for the cool back drop - she painted it!

  13. Lovely dress, the material is so 20s, without the (I think) unflattering flapper cut. :) So it's the best out of the 20s, sassed up with a lovely cut!

    1. I see what you are saying :] You are right, it helps that is has a waist to avoid the unflattering flapper cut.
