Remember him from a Thrifted Thursday a few months back?
Well, I decided to illustrate him. While I am not sure he will make the cut when it comes to my header I had fun drawing him anyway :] He still needs to be refined a bit, and I think he could use some glasses. Do any of you like to doodle?
I have been sans my camera the past week. I will be back to a regular schedule next week! Tomorrow my mom and I are driving up to Wisconsin to pick up some books for her work and we mayyyyy stop at the Jell Belly factory :] While I hate jelly beans it is still a fun place to visit. Hope you all are having a great day!!
How cute! I love to doodle, too AND I'm in the middle of redoing my blog as well :) I can't wait to see how yours turns out!

DeleteThe jelly belly factory!! I'm jealous, I love jelly bellys. MMM.
ReplyDeleteThat cute doodle is super cute, and I agree it totally needs some glasses!!
Eeep! We didn't end up going. The factory is pretty fun though. I still need to go on the tour.
Delete:] I plan to give him some glasses today.
i love him! and he's adorableee. i love sketching - i have drawn up a few corgis for the blog header, all to be rejected.
ReplyDeleteand i love the jelly belly factory - i've been to the one in san francisco
Thank you! Aww. I would love to see them. I am still debating adding sweetpea in a design.
DeleteAwesome! Did you go on the tour? I still haven't done that.
Eeep! That little dog/kitty thing was my favorite from all your thrifted pieces so it's nice to see he's up for review on your header. :) His little bowtie does it for me, but I certainly could see upping the cute-factor by giving him some specs.
ReplyDeleteYour Wisconsin trip with your mommy sounds super fun! Especially the jelly belly part. The Starburst jelly beans are actually my favorite but still. I wouldn't say no if someone handed me a bag at the factory. You should however pick up some cheese curds while you're there!!! Now those are mmm-mmm-good.
:] Thanks! I think he is one of my all time favorite thrifted items as well. I plan to play around with some specs later this afternoon.
DeleteIt was a lot of fun...but we didn't make it to the Jelly Belly factory after all. We didn't have enough time for an extended stop. We did however pick up cheese curds and they sure are delish :]
awww It's adorable!
ReplyDeleteawww It's adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love to doodle but i'm not very good at it!
ReplyDeleteDoodling is just too fun not to :]
DeleteI'm horrible at drawing/coloring/anything that involved hand eye coordination. You are so talented, he's super cute :)

DeleteThis is so sweet! I like him better as your illustration, actually! :)

DeleteLove the doodle, and I love him! So cute.
ReplyDelete:] thanks!
Deleteyou doodled that awfully neat. even for computer, i can never get the crisp lines i want if i try to draw on computer, i give up and just draw with a pencil.
ReplyDeleteI used the pen tool - my all time favorite tool. It helps a lot creating clean lines.
DeleteHey. I really like your doodle. How did you create it? Was it many different lines using the pen tool, or one line?
ReplyDeleteI'm still new with Illustrator..
I used the pen tool but with a bunch of different lines. The pen tool is my favorite thing in illustrator :]
DeleteOh, the answer to my question! So you did draw it! :) Very cute! :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Thank you :]
DeleteI wondered where the cute little cartoony cat came from! I love your new header!
