For today's Most Wanted Monday I thought it would be fun to show off some tattoos I have fallen in love with recently. My mother specifically told me she couldn't handle if I got another one this weekend, so of course I want another now (see my tattoo here). Just one on my inner arm, or maybe my thigh? Hmmmm. Obviously I don't have enough thought put in to it to get one...just yet.
1. Poppies - Sang Noir.
2. Orchids - Davie Hale.
3. Bouquet - Josh Cerny, formerly at Steady Tattoo. Now at Live Fast Die Young Tattoos.
Animals
4. Tattoo Commission - Nan Lawson.
5. Fox - Unsure of artist, found on Baked Fish's Photostream.
6. Bird/floral - Unsure of artist, found on Mariah is on Fire's photostream.
Not Katie's from Skunkyboy...but close-ish (?).
Cameo
7. Grandad cameo - Miguel Angel Tattoo.
8. Cameo - Katie's Pencil Box.
Basically - put some flowers, cute animals, and a vintage frame around it and - BAM! I kid, sort of. Looking to get some new ink, or have any recently acquired some? Let me know! I would love to see/hear about it :] Happy Monday y'all!
**If you know the artists of the tattoos above please let me know so that I can fix the links on my pinterest and credit them. I hate when people pin things without the proper links attached.
I LOVE these! Especially the Nan Lawson one! I love her art. The one that says "Free Indeed" does look like Katie's tattoo! I really like it.
ReplyDelete:] I love Nan Lawsons work as well. It is such an awesome little piece.
DeleteI've always wanted tattoos of my dogs and everyone told me I was crazy. I am loving all of these animal/pet tattoos!
ReplyDeleteThat is not crazy at all! I want one of my dachshund :]
DeleteWoah, those tattoos are so cool. I wish I were brave enough to face the needle and get a tattoo. Maybe one day - it'll have to go on my bucket list! :)

DeleteI love all of those! I want a Camellia (state flower of Alabama) on my side at some point. Need to loose a little weight first. =)
ReplyDeleteI think that would look so pretty :]
DeleteYour blog is literally the cutest blog I've ever seen:)
ReplyDeleteD'aww. Thanks lady!!
DeleteThat poppy ink is wholly gorgeous - I might just have to use that inspiration for my next tattoo. The colours and the way the flowers just creep and wind up her arm is just amazing. gorgeous gorgeous!
ReplyDelete:] I completely agree!!
Deletethese are amazing! ive wanted to get inked for a while but can not think of what to get, it has to be just right and i cant seem to settle on a design. these are great inspiration though!:)
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of time and research to find the perfect piece :]
DeleteI love floral tattoos too! If I was going to get one, it be something similar to the link I just showed you or the first picture. Those peonies are really cute!
ReplyDelete:] The link you just showed me is so pretty. I would have loved if my piece turned out a bit more like hers. I know I already have one floral tattoo but I wouldn't mind more, haha.
DeleteEEEEEP I've got the tattoo itch. Its been over two years since my last one and it's high time for another! I know eventually I'll get a goat man but I'm not sure if I want that to be my next one. I'll probably let my tattoo artist come up with something cause she's that awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of having your next one on your inner arm or thigh. I always have the hardest time deciding on the location!
My Billie
:] That is so cool that you found a tattoo artist that you are so comfortable with. I am sure whatever you get will be awesome.
DeleteI like the idea of having my tattoos sort of hidden but a fun surprise :]
i've always wanted to get a tattoo, but i'm too chicken to actually do it.
ReplyDeleteHa. Aw. It isn't for everyone.
DeleteWow! So many beautiful tattoos. I think the peonies are just gorgeous. If I was ever to get a tattoo though, I think I would leave it just black and white lines. I really like that look. :)
ReplyDeletewww.lacewinged.com
:] My first and only tattoo is just black and white. I like the look too. It helps keep it clean and simple.
DeleteThese are all SO up my street! I have been after a fox tattoo for ages, but I haven't perfected the design yet.
ReplyDeleteIn 2 weeks my sister is tattooing me, it is going to be a version of a vintage ring that was my Great Grandma's. It's going on my left calf and I can't wait! =D
xx
:] That sounds wonderful!! That is awesome that your sister is a tattoo artist.
DeleteTattoos like these make me want to get more. But then it'd be so hard for me to get a job as a solicitor if I had more :( booo. Maybe when I have my midlife crisis ;) haha
ReplyDeleteBoo. Haha. Sounds like a good plan :]
DeleteI've had a tattoo in mind that I want done for ages now, but I just can't get up the nerve to go and get it done! I don't know any tattooists and I think it's important to be able to talk comfortably with whoever does it, which is probably why I'm so nervous, may have to go loiter around some tattoo shops :P xx
ReplyDeleteI definitely suggest that you do! Knowing your artist and feeling comfortable really helps the process :]
DeleteYes, yes, and more yes! I love 2 and 6! I'm working on sleeving out my arm. My mom will never give up trying to talk me out of it! haha
ReplyDelete:] haha. I wish I were brave enough. I am working up to it.
DeleteI love the cameo idea! So artistic and mysterious, and less chance for the artist to mess up... Portraits sometimes can get quite... Unlike the real thing. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been pinning tattoos on Pinterest too, I'm seriously tempted... I'd love a cat with me at all times! :)
Haha. I totally agree with you. That sounds like an excellent idea. I had a photo of a cameo cat tattoo - I should have posted it!
DeleteI like the colors in the first one and the second fox. Good luck on the job hunt lady. Job hunting is my number one pet peeve with interviews coming in a close second. Horrible.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yeah...it is a lot of work and can be very frustrating :-/
DeleteOMG I've always had it on my tattoo list (I do have one!) to get a bird of some sort tattoo since I've forever referenced myself as a "free bird". I just never got any great artistic ideas so it never came to life. You just triggered my urge for it!
ReplyDeleteThe fox tattoo is soooo cute and I have loved them only since I got my dog Jaxon in 2009. He resembles a fox like crazy and is always getting accused of one when we see people in the streets. They think he's either a fox or a coyote. It's so cute.
Those cameo/silhouettes are also something so pretty to get tattooed. You should totally do it! In like a turquoise-y color! I can see it now. Do it, before I do. haha kidding. Or am I?
I want a sleeve as well. You should seriously make this a monday link up! I would so join it!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd what is the name of your font in your header and at the bottom of your blog?? I seriously need to make a design with that font!! Pretty pleeeeeease :)
